We know that in order to provide outstanding care, education and development for your child, our teachers and support staff are the key, and most important factor.
It is for this reason we are able to assure you that:
- Our teachers are sensitive to the individual needs of each child, their cultural and family backgrounds, and their developmental stage of learning.
- An appointed ‘key teacher’ looks after your child all day, every day and is responsible for meeting the needs of each child in their care and responds sensitively to their feelings, ideas and behaviour.
- The teachers are responsible for keeping and updating your child’s development portfolio, planning for their individual needs and ensures they are happy and safe.
- All teachers have a Disclosure and barring service (DBS) check before commencing work with us. This is then updated every three years.
- Our staff recruitment policies ensure a thorough and rigorous vetting process to verify employment and residential history, authentication of all professional qualifications and certificates.
- All teachers undergo the Safeguarding and Child Protection course provided by the Local Authority and selected staff specialise in Paediatric First Aid and behavioural management.
- Periodic reviews are in place to identify further training and improvement to promote best practice and continued outstanding education and care.
